This sonic essence features two homemade flower essences, recordings of vocals and synthesizers, and a Saraswati mantra for success in educational, artistic, and spiritual endeavors. (For more on Saraswati, see below.)

What’s inside this sonic essence

I took two homemade flower essences immediately before recording the sonic elements for this track:

* EMPRESS (Calendula)—for boosting emotional resilience and inner strength, comforting the heart, mending wounded spirits, reducing anxiety and fear (especially in relationships), and for empowerment through solar light

* SHINE (Sunflower)—for activating inner power, protection, and well-being, and for shining brightly with the light of the sun

I created SHINE from the first sunflower I ever grew, a photo of which appears on the cover of the Sonic Essences album.

About the mantra in this track

Om Eim Saraswatiyei Swaha
Pronunciation: OM I’M SAH-RAH-SWAH-TEE-YEI SWAH-HA
Translation: “Om and salutations to the feminine Saraswati principle.”

“In any creative endeavor,” writes Thomas Ashley-Farrand, “this mantra invokes energy for making the project fruitful and successful.” I’ve been working with Saraswati mantras intensively for several years, and I’ve found their energies to be powerful and productive.
